Ear Stretching Part 3
Okay, so video 2 actually just talks about lip stretching. So I put up part 3 - and he talks about the Emu Oil and how to apply it. Emu Oil is what I personally use. and I would prefer it.

Amazing Hand Made Organic Plugs.

Hand Made Organic Plug
Wah-lahh!!! Look what I found!!! These beautiful plugs really have to be the most elegantly made plugs I have ever seen. I found them on Amazon.com
. They are double flared Paua Heart with white Mother of Pearl ring inlaid in black Buffalo Horn. Seriously? Even the description make these organic plugs sound quite tasty. Paua is a species of large edible sea snails, so the middle of the gauge is the middle section of the shell giving that striking blue, green, and purple iridescence. In the sun, they honestly look fabulous.
Fun Fact: Paua can only be caught by free diving. It is illegal to dive for paua using scuba equipment. Weird, right? I thought it was pretty damn weird.
And the white ring around the Paua is called the Mother of Pearl. The Mother of Pearl is found also in many other families of mollusk, or sea snails. The silk-like proteins stack in a "brickwork" arrangement making it a very sturdy and strong material.
Also, the Buffalo Horn give the organic gauge it's finishing touch. The black material gives a very completed feeling. I strongly recommend these organic gauges on your quest to awesome-hood. With such strong materials these plugs will be very long lived.
They come in sizes -48mm,
28mm,
33mm.
Now, I'm sure they would totally be down to special order you your size if you don't see yours posted.

Mona Lisa Picture Box Plug.

Mona Lisa Picture Box Plug
There are also different types available, just to show a few. It can be a religious plug, or a trendy plug. Either way I personally really dig them. It's kind of like wearing teeny (or huge - depending on your gauge size) paintings or old art pieces. They give off that distinct vintage feel that has been floating around the fashion world lately. Tailor your selection to a set that best describes you and your look, which is exactly what makes these plugs an easy choice. Unique in their own way because of what they are and yet still something everyone will gravitate to once their out on the scene.

They happen to have a variety of organic plugs at Pierced Body Jewelry Shop including the Mona Lisa Plugs as seen as above. I liked these plugs for a few certain reasons. They are stainless steel so they are healthy for your ears, easy to clean, and they have the crisp finish of the metal. And who doesn't love The Mona Lisa? I mean, come on, she is a classic. Leonardo's painting is perhaps the most famous painting in the world. Walking around with 16th century artwork in my earlobes sounds pretty fantastic, I won't lie.

Punch Piercing vs. Manually Stretching.
Now sure, it may sting a little bit - starting any gauge size does. Some more then others, it just depends on size. Most professional piercers won't have a gauge needle any bigger than a 6g or an 8g, due to healing time involved. I personally would get the hole pierced at a 10g at the minimum and manually stretch over time. Something about punching out a hole of skin to make a bigger hole doesn't make much sense to me. I would prefer manually stretching because I would want as much earlobe as i can without having to subtract some to get started. Resulting in a bigger gauge size.
Though, if I may say so - STRETCHING SHOULD NOT HURT IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY HEALED AND READY TO MOVE UP. That's just my input against his video from personal experiences. No offense, bud.
On the other hand, you will be able to find tapers on www.sthbodyjewelry.com.

Organic Horn Plug Gauges.
These white organic gauges are made from bone in the floral wing design, the kind of gauge you could wear every day or on occasion. They come in various sizes such as -0g,
I really liked the style and design, the way the swooped and and swung gave be the impression of blossoming. I would prefer these because they do come in a white - which is a neutral color, and can go with just about any outfit. You can find them on Amazon.com.

Organic Horn Plug Gauges - Black
They also have a black version at Amazon.com
, as well.
The great thing about black organic gauges is the fact that they go with any skin type, contrasting against pale or adding more tone to olive or darker skin while still keeping that elegant classic feel to them. They are an all around unique gauge, bringing together the dangle earring feel with the stretched look. And as I stated earlier, black is also a neutral color - therefore going with all outfits possible. On this website, they have sizes 00g,
6g,
10g,
8g,
2g,
0g.
